Started as a day-long complimentary shopping extravaganza for the marginalised, Garage Sale has now developed as an Annual activity in all Nirmaan centres across India, bringing smile on more than 6000+ faces per year with a gala shopping experience.

Garage Sale

With the credo of Charity With Dignity- an equalistic philanthropy tinged with humane emotion and sense of equality, Garage Sale came into practice in 2013 as Nirmaan's endeavor to materialise the dream of 'shopping mall experience' for the street or slum dwellers. Started as a day-long complimentary shopping extravaganza for the marginalised, Garage Sale has now developed as an Annual activity in all Nirmaan centres across India, bringing smile on more than 6000+ faces per year with a gala shopping experience.


Designed to create a supermart-like shopping ambience for the underprivileged, the event incorporates open-air stalls with separate kids, men, women section where people are allowed to pick and choose their favourite items from apparels, accessories, toys, gift items, books to refurbished household goods & gadgets collected via donations. Unlike regular charitable drives, the uniqueness of Garage Sale lies in offering the poorest of poor an access to own the most fancy & hi-end store items while enjoying the liberty of choice.


The cause has received overwhelming response from individuals & corporate, including Ecommerce Giant Amazon India who had contributed in kind with products ranging from gadgets to daily utility items over the past few years to make the effort a humongous success.
