Environmental Education
‘Education on Environment’ is a vital part of the curriculum for the children under our ‘Education on Wheels’ Project.
Addressing the issue of open defecation among the urban homeless or shanty-dwellers, and rural population of Burdwan, Team Nirmaan had taken up the challenge to educate the community kids on the importance of using toilets through sensitization programs. By working closely with the village schools we are building leaders of change in the community who proudly call themselves ‘Prakriti Bandhu’ or ‘Nature’s Mate’.
